About Stefan
As a child, Stefan spent entire summers in Romania with his grandparents. There, communist jokes were told. Jokes that people shared at home, in which the truth of dictatorship was hidden behind a veneer of humor. Communist jokes that can still be told by Stefan on stage today. With his no-nonsense stand-up, sharp observations, and characteristic self-deprecation, Stefan explores how freedom works today. And especially: how it can quietly disappear while we think we are freer than ever.
