Roel & Jos Maalderink

People often find it hard to believe that Roel and Jos are brothers because they are so different from each other. After battling it out for seven seasons in 'Plakshot', they are now facing off against each other in the theater.

Verbroedering is a topical cabaret performance about democracy under attack, the climate going to hell, and AI that will soon make us completely redundant. How do we solve today's problems? With hope or with pessimism? By adapting or by staying true to ourselves? With a wink or with a witty remark? In short: with Roel or with Jos?!

With this, the Netherlands has gained two iconic brothers. In 1672, the De Witt brothers were lynched; in 1995, the De Boer brothers won the Champions League; and in 2002, the Ko brothers had a horn on their jet ski. Roel and Jos have neither a horn nor a jet ski, but now they do have a full-length show.
