In honor of Efteling's 75th anniversary, master choreographer Ed Wubbe (known for TING! and Oscar) presents the large-scale dance spectacle 'Darkride'. This performance is an ode to imagination, wonder, and the child within. Prepare yourself for a wondrous 'Darkride' that challenges you to follow your intuition and embrace the unknown.

'Darkride' takes you on a thrilling and poetic journey through the 'World of Wonders.' Led by a mysterious magician, an impressive ensemble of the best dancers and acrobats from the Netherlands travels through worlds where nothing is what it seems. You are challenged to follow your intuition: will you succumb to the fear of the unknown, or step in with the innocent gaze of a child?

The performance is based on the iconic music of the Efteling, specially arranged by René Merkelbach, known for attractions such as Raveleijn and Danse Macabre. Vocal artist Luca Warmer adds an extra layer to this immersive experience with her unique vocal sound. This creates a sensory journey full of contrasts: sometimes dark and menacing, then moving, dreamy, and light.

Leave the illusions of everyday life behind and step into 'Darkride': a magical theater experience full of dance, acrobatics, and Efteling nostalgia, where everything can change in the blink of an eye.
