We live in a rapidly changing world. That world is the stage for journalists Ruben Terlou and Jelle Brandt Corstius. In their new theater performance, these born storytellers take you on a journey through Eastern Europe and Asia.

In 'Traveling Through a New World', the new geopolitical reality takes on a human face. Through their encounters for their VPRO series, Terlou and Brandt Corstius tell the larger story. They give us a glimpse into their lives as documentary makers and all the poignant moments and special events behind the scenes. What drives them to continue traveling?

We travel along the contours of a new world order, where the hegemony of the US has faded and where the vacuum is being filled by China and Russia. Where democracies are being replaced by autocracies. Where smaller countries like Taiwan and Ukraine are at risk of being overshadowed. And where Europe must find a new path.
