Close your eyes and imagine yourself in France. In “Vivre!”, Gerard Alderliefste, together with his eight-member musical ensemble, takes you on an atmospheric journey through French chanson. Enjoy warm melodies, sing along, and let yourself be surprised by special musical encounters and personal stories.

Following the success of *Une Belle Histoire*, Gerard Alderliefste & Friends return to Markant with 'Vivre!'. An ode to life and the power of music. The title refers to the iconic song *Vivre* and stands for living life to the fullest, exactly how this performance feels.

You will hear well-known French classics, Gerard's own work, and beautiful renditions of songs by Julien Clerc, Lara Fabian, and Barbara Pravi, among others, sung by Rosanne and Bregje. Accordion and violin create an authentic French atmosphere, as if you were on a village square, campsite, or fête du village.

Classics such as 'Une belle histoire', 'Vivre', 'Non, non, rien n’a changé', and 'Elle voulait qu’on l’appelle Venise' are also included. For over thirty years, Gerard Alderliefste has managed to touch audiences with his love for the French language and music.

'Vivre!' is a warm, musical theatre concert full of joie de vivre. In short: an evening you will remember for a long time.
