Tim Knol walks. In this performance, he talks about the walks that took him through the Netherlands and beyond: around Texel, through Norway with his little daughter on his back, around the IJsselmeer, from the tri-border point to Groningen. During these walks, he looks back on his life as a singer-songwriter.

During those walks, he looks back on his former life as the sociable, but also dangerously overweight, singer-songwriter. The walking is reflected in his music. Where previously restlessness was the dominant theme, you now hear more peace and love. In the show ‘Wanderings’, Tim talks about his experiences along the way and plays the songs that fit. Much remains the same as before. Tim alone on stage, filled with various instruments, beautiful covers, and many new songs. Tim himself. That is what ‘Wanderings’ is about. Reflection while walking and doing something beautiful with it.
