The family musical Mees Kees returns to Markant with an even bigger, more interactive, and musical show for the whole family: Mees Kees - The Hustle Race. A cheerful theater adventure full of humor, music, and unexpected twists!

The award-winning books about Mees Kees are becoming classics. Following the Mees Kees television series, various successful films in theaters, and the theater tour in the 2023/2024 season, there is now a completely new family musical.

Mees Kees is and remains the funniest teacher in the Netherlands. Naturally, he, Dreus, and the children are at the center of this musical theater adventure. Mees Kees is always ready to help the students in his class with his funny, clever solutions. But everyone is on guard against Dreus, the principal of the school.

This adventure centers around the National Reading Competition. For student Sammy, who has dyslexia, this is a big problem: he mixes up all the words. Fortunately, Mees Kees has a suitable solution. But what are they actually doing with all those banners and flags? And by the way, why are Tobias and Mees Kees's brother suddenly in such a hurry?
